Course overview

An introductory session to social security benefits for those working in health and social care. The session will answer questions such as; *Is the State Pension really a benefit? *How can we categories benefits? *Is it possible to claim benefits whilst working? It will explore the different categories of social security benefits and then take a look at the basic eligibility criteria attached to some of the most commonly claimed benefits. Following this session it is expected that delegates will have a robust overview of the social security safety net in England & Wales.
